She not only helped us understand many of the popular places of Montmartre and the Latin Quarter, she took us down side streets to find hidden gems along the way. She was helpful before our trip, giving us tips on things to do near our apartment. And her lunch choice was absolutely fantastic. She quickly understood our family vibe and joined in all the fun. It was the perfect balance of experiencing local culture, learning about history and contemporary Paris, and tasting local food and drinks. Sophie was able to keep the teens engaged with our visit to the flea market while our 7 year old was on the lookout for tile art scattered throughout the city - all while throwing in historical events and abundant information about the city. My husband, two teen sons and I did her walking tour of Montmartre and her off the beaten path breakfast tour. Sophie made it so easy for us to enjoy ourselves and have fun! She kept us smiling with stories and history about her favorite city and we left each time wanting more. We took other tours while in Paris but they all paled in comparison to her welcoming spirit. My fiancé and I took the Paris walking tour and experienced the sights, sounds, and tastes of the historic city with Sophie. She is knowledgeable about the history and culture, tailors her tour to your interests as you go, and makes you feel like you have been friends forever! We LOVED our tour with Sophie, she was so knowledgeable, took us on some really fantastic, covered passages and around some of the most historical buildings, giving us the history and cultural explanations along the way. She had fantastic recommendations for the rest of our trip and took us on such a fun tour. We'd recommend her to everyone!!
