Terms of Service

Le Paris de Sophie is a sole proprietorship whose head office is located at 19 Rue Beccaria – 75012 PARIS identified in SIREN under number 878 533 108 (hereinafter “Le Paris de Sophie”) which offers users of the website www.leparisdesophie .com a service allowing them to book experiences – tourist tours – in the city of Paris but also to be advised in the preparation of their trip to Paris (the “Services”).

The contractual information is presented in French and English, the French language being authentic.

  • Article 1: object

These General Conditions of Sale (the “General Conditions of Sale”) govern the relations between Le Paris de Sophie and any non-commercial natural person (“the User”) on the occasion of the sale of services presented on the site www.leparisdesophie.com.

Any order and payment for the purchase of an experience or an invoice / quote relating to travel advice implies acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions, which you can print and keep.

Le Paris de Sophie reserves the right to adapt or modify the General Conditions of Sale at any time. The General Conditions of Sale thus modified will then apply in place of the old General Conditions of Sale as soon as they are posted on the website www.leparisdesophie.com.

In accordance with the regulations in force, Le Paris de Sophie reserves the right to derogate from certain clauses of these General Conditions of Sale, depending on the negotiations carried out with the User, by establishing special conditions.

  • ARTICLE 2 – Services

Sophie’s Paris has created various offers for guided walking tours in Paris, all of which are detailed on the website.

  • ARTICLE 3 – Prices

The Services offered by Le Paris de Sophie are provided at the rates in effect on the Site, as communicated to the User prior to placing their Order. The prices appearing on the Site are expressed in Euros and including all taxes.

The Price displayed corresponds to the Price of a reservation for a specified group of people as part of a specific guided tour.

The prices of the services include the design of the visit, the guide’s services and the options included in the description of the experience (food, drinks, etc.), as well as the booking fees.

The prices are contractual tariffs. No dispute relating to the price of the Service can be taken into account once the Order is effective (confirmation by email).

  • ARTICLE 4 – Ordering methods

The User sends a reservation request to the site. www.leparisdesophie.com . A response is sent to him by email as to the availability or not of Sophie’s Paris. If the date is available, a payment link according to the rate in effect on the site is sent to use.

  • ARTICLE 5 – Terms of payment

For the experiments, the price is payable in cash, in full upon receipt of the payment link by the User, in accordance with the terms specified in Article 4 of the CGV. Payment can also take place by bank transfer or cash.

Payment for address books and personalized itineraries can also be done by credit card through the Stripe platform.

The payment made by the User is not considered final until Le Paris de Sophie has actually collected the sums due.

  • ARTICLE 6 – Cancellation and right of withdrawal

For guided tours of Paris, under Article L.221.-28 12 °) of the Consumer Code and given the nature of the services provided, the User does not benefit from the right of withdrawal:

“The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts: (…) 12 ° Provision of accommodation services, other than residential accommodation, goods transport services, car rentals, catering or leisure activities which must be provided on a specific date or period ”.

The contract is therefore definitively concluded upon placing the Order by the User in accordance with the terms specified in these CGV.

If it is impossible for Sophie’s Paris to perform an experiment under optimal conditions for the User due to a Force Majeure event, another slot will be offered by Sophie’s Paris. If it is physically impossible to find another time slot in the coming year, the guided tour will be canceled and fully refunded.

Being agreed between the Parties that a Force Majeure event is an unforeseeable, irresistible, and external event, including in particular the following events: strikes and public demonstrations, illness, death, exceptional weather conditions, natural disasters, etc.

  • ARTICLE 7 – Responsibility

Participants in the experiments are under their own civil liability in the event of an accident.

LE PARIS DE SOPHIE DISCLAIMS ALL RESPONSIBILITY IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT OR THEFT DURING THE GUIDED TOURS.

Le Paris de Sophie undertakes to provide the Services with diligence and according to the rules of the art, it being specified that it bears an obligation of means, to the exclusion of any obligation of result, which the user expressly recognizes

Responsibility for Sophie’s Paris will not be held liable in any case of failure to visit a museum, to book a restaurant, or to close a place outside of the hours provided by Le Paris de Sophie.

  • ARTICLE 8 – Litigation and jurisdictional competences

If you do not comply with any of the provisions of these general conditions of sale and, in general, any difficulty relating to the execution, interpretation or validity of these, are subject to French law and French courts.

  • ARTICLE 9 – User acceptance

These General Conditions of Sale are expressly approved and accepted by the User who declares and acknowledges having read them, having full knowledge of them, and therefore waives the right to invoke any contradictory document and, in particular, his own conditions. general terms of purchase, which will be unenforceable against Le Paris de Sophie, even if she is aware of it.
